everyone's been remembering their LJs lately, so i thought i'd give mine another wee go as well [:
some of the stuff i have on here though. it's cheesey. oh well.
think i'll have a wee emo rant now seen as we're back at school soon.

At the start of the year, suddenly everyone decided Summer '06 would be the best yet, and i aspired to make it that way. There's been endless trips to the beach, nights in alone, nights out with everyone, and the memories that we've made will last a lifetime. I've made new friends and refound all the oldest ones, all the while keeping the one that's closest to me at the front of my mind.

I've drank too much alcohol, 'spewed my ring', and cried my heart out on many occasions but i can honestly say, even at these times, i've never been happier.

I've loved every single second, whether it was with carolyn and a can of relentless on the steps of the music hall in aberdeen, or just in someone's living room with all the best kids in the world. Promises have been made and stupid things were said and done. There's been plenty of kisses, too, including the 'accidental', the competition, and the one so perfect i fell for that person.

In saying that, there has been a fair share of love interests as well. The good guy who's already with someone, the hot older guy who's been around the block a few times, and even a best friend who i'd never thought of until now.

I think it's safe to say the kids i've been with this summer will always be in my mind, even if the parties are quite a bit hazy. Everyone's growing up, but we're not growing out of each other quite yet. [:
